Fond Memories

Created by Cathy 2 years ago

My first memory of Graham was as a 5 year old starting school in the same class as Jane.  He was always there as I grew up, very much the handsome older brother to be envied!  I think my main memory is one of admiration when his father died.  He stepped up and took over his father's role with his mother and sister.  He remained that figure to them for the rest of his life.

I particularly remember him trying to teach myself and Jane to play golf, without much success.   He also took myself and my sister sailing in Poole Harbour on several occasions.

He handled all our family insurance until he retired and I used to pop into his office when I was in Bournemouth for a chat.  On a personal and a business level he was a pleasure to be with and I will always have fond memories of him.
